I'm still new to bread making and this recipe turned out tasting just like fresh baked bread from a bakery. I'll never buy another loaf of french bread again. I have a bread machine and hate it, except to make homemade onion bagel dough. I made the french bread with my KA mixer and didn't have to change a thing...it's perfect! Thanks!

Your site is amazing!! I'm wanting to come up with a meal just so I can try making this french bread, you make it look so good. Your pictures are a pleasure and your directions are detailed enough to make even me happy. I've got a bowl of NK sitting on my counter waiting for tonight, first try. I can't wait!
